The following pictures show the 90 as it was being stripped. |

The steering column was the last item to have to come out before removing the bulkhead. It has to be split from the top UJ. Then the steering wheel and wiper/indicator stalks removed. Then the top part of the column is removed towards the engine bay.

After knocking out the outrigger bolts and grinding off the footwell bolts (Mr angle grinder again!!) we could lift off the bulkhead. It is easily lifted between two people. |

Looking a bit different from when we started! Each large chunk we take off is quite satisfying. |
Although the chassis has proven quite solid (except the patches everywhere!) one of the outriggers was quite crunchy.

There was a the remains of a shim under one of the footwell mounting points. Also, there were washers on one side at the end of the outrigger to set the bulkhead in the correct position. A warning of fun to come when we have to fit the new bulkhead.
