Heater

I wanted the heater to be as good as possible, so I stripped it down to overhaul it. The panel is held on with pop rivets so has to be drilled off.

 

The old matrix can be slid out.

 

I chose to fit a new matrix because the old one was getting a but thin in places.

 

New sponge was fixed around the matrix to seal in to the casing.

 

The matrix in place. The flaps and their insulating pads were found to be in good condition so I could leave them.

 

Then the cover was rivetted back in place.

 

After a little wiring repair, the heater assembly was painted.
